Spray Polyurethane Foam, commonly known as SPF, is derived from the reaction of an isocyanate component and a polyol resin component.
When the two liquids combined, a chemical reaction occurs which creates a rigid or semi-rigid foam. The mixed liquid expands many times its original size. Once cured, it solidifies and becomes polyurethane foam.
Spray Polyurethane Foam offers has many different uses:
- Commercial and residential building insulation
- Vapor, air and moisture barriers
- Industrial insulation for pipes and tanks, and climate-controlled buildings
- Slab jacking and cavity filling
- Packaging, furniture, adhesives and architectural design,
- Flotation for boats, ships, barges, floating docks, etc.
